The Freedom 5K
The Freedom 5k is fun walk/race to raise awareness of domestic sex trafficking on the North Shore and in the Greater Boston Area. Last year more than 3,000 teenagers were trafficked from Boston, some were trafficked to Bangkok and others to Danvers, Lynn, Roxbury and Wesley. 100% of the proceeds from this race will go directly to the care of women affected by domestic sex trafficking.
The Freedom 5k race will start at 10am. Sign-in and day-of-registration will open at 8:00 am. There will be a cash raffle for prizes, including a $50 gift card to The Cheesecake Factory at completion of the race. Families, runners and walkers are all welcome.
