Slice Pizza and More Reopens Wednesday

Popular local eatery closed for renovations last August. Re-opening is today.

A popular Wakefield eatery is back open for business on Wednesday, following a nearly eight-month hiatus.

Slice Pizza and More now shares building space with the Prime gas station at the junction of Salem and Lowell Streets, steps away from the site of the former building where it was originally located.

Paul and John Cucinatti, two cousins from Winchester, first opened Slice back in the fall of 2009. While this is their first business, other family members run the restaurant Orzo in North Andover.

In a conversation Tuesday with Wakefield Patch, John Cucinatti reported that with the exception of a few new additions, the menu has not changed.
"We're just looking forward to serving our great pizza and seeing all our customers - and new customers," said Cucinatti.
