On Thursday morning, area media outlets got an early look at the new Whole Foods at MarketStreet Lynnfield, which marks its grand opening next week.
"It's great to finally be here when we have something to show," Ted Tye of National Development told area reporters, noting that some 500 workers are still on the MarketStreet Lynnfield site.
The Whole Foods will open on Wednesday, August 21 with its bread-breaking ceremony at 9:45 a.m. Other shops at MarketStreet Lynnfield begin opening Thursday, August 22 and will continue to do so through the fall.
These photos show the Whole Foods several days before its opening, with workers busily putting the finishing touches on many parts of the store.
This particular Whole Foods will also reportedly boast a small stage for cooking demonstrations, entertainment and more, as well as other features such as a takeout window, an outdoor seating area with two fire pits, and a variety of food options.
