Account Created for Brothers Who Each Lost Leg in Blast

Two brothers, one of them a Wakefield resident, each lost a leg Monday in Boston Marathon terrorist attack. Bank account is raising funds for them and their friend.

An account has been set up at an area bank to help two brothers who each lost a leg in Moday’s Boston Marathon terrorist attack.

The Boston Globe spoke with Liz Norden of Wakefield for Tuesday’s edition about the injuries sustained by her two sons. From there, the story was picked up by a number of national media outlets. The Globe reported noted that the younger brother's girlfriend was badly injured as well.

On Tuesday, this website learned that a fund has been created at TD Bank to help out the brothers as well as their friend Marc Fucarile of Stoneham.

Checks can be made out to the Marc, JP and Paul Marathon Victim Fund and mailed to TD Bank, 280 Montvale Ave., Woburn, MA 01801. Call the bank at 781-376-0100 with questions.
