Wakefield's Scout Troop 701 is holding its annual wreath sale to raise funds for its activities.
The following is an announcement from Boy Scout Troop 701 of Wakefield: Troop 701 has many long standing traditions and one of them is it’s annual wreath sale. The troop decorates and sells Christmas Wreaths each year in order to fund their meetings, advancements, and outdoor program. Profits from the wreath sale, the troop’s only annual fundraiser, are used to pay for camping trips, backpacking trips, rock climbing, zip-lining, scout camp, and advancement patches. Scouts will be selling wreaths individually around Wakefield. Sales on the weekend after Thanksgiving will take place at most local churches and on Main Street.
