Each week, Wakefield Patch runs a photo taken somewhere in town and invites people to guess where it's from.
Somewhere in an old photo album, I've got a picture of a statue very much like this one taken in the famous Lafayette Cemetery in the Garden District of New Orleans. At first glance, this picture looks a lot like it was probably taken at one of the churches in town. But, you never know. Do you know where this was taken? Answer in the comments box below!

If there's one lesson we can draw from this clock, it's that "It's always pizza time somewhere." But perhaps I've said too much already. Sure, there's a ton of places in Wakefield where this could be, and you're probably running through some of the usual suspects right now. With that - do you know where this was taken? A while ago, there was some talk in Washington D.C. about creating a trillion-dollar coin to help deal with the national deficit. Neither the coin nor the deficit have really gotten anywhere since then. That said, Wakefield has its own hedge against fiscal insolvency - the world's largest quarter. Chances are more than one family on an East Coast road trip has pulled into town to check it out. Heck, I once even drove through a town in Saskatchewan that billed itself as the home of the world's largest bicycle. Thing is, if anybody asks me, I'm not sure if I'll be able to remember how to get to this thing in Wakefield - does anyone know where this was taken? Answer in the comments box below!

This week, we've got an image that includes some well-known Wakefield landmarks in it. Thing is, I must have turned down a side street somewhere. I can't quite remember where this - do you know where this was taken?

So I was somewhere in Wakefield the other morning and I came across these folks. Thing is, I can't quite remember where. Maybe it was all even just a dream or perhaps I made "A Stop At Willoughby" via the Twilight Zone that morning but came back to tell about it, complete with photos. But something tells me that wasn't the case. With that - do you know where this was taken?

This image was definitely taken during a different time of the year, judging from all this vegetation. That said, things don't necessarily look that different from month to month at this particular spot. Do you know where this was taken? Answer in the comments box below!

I'm not sure how this guy's table manners are, but I can assure you that I ate about as heartily as he appears to be eating the night this photo was taken. That said - do you know where in Wakefield this happens to be? Answer in the comments box below!

If you live in Wakefield, there's an excellent chance you've walked past this painting more than once. That said, sometimes we don't always remember those places we see all the time. Do you know where this was taken? Answer in the comments box below!

This classical-looking fellow was spotted one afternoon while out and about in Wakefield. In fact, it's probably pretty easy to walk right past this thing and not even notice it. Either way - do you know where this was taken? Post your answer in the comments box below!

It's close to the 8' pile of snow they built that blocks the entire sidewalk on Pleasant St. Nice job Naz. Golden Shovel for you.   more ›
