Where Is This?

Do You Know Where This Was Taken?

Each week, Wakefield Patch runs a photo taken somewhere in town and invites readers to guess where it's from.

How's this for a real estate of the week feature? Just kidding of course. This structure could be considered somewhat off the beaten path - but only by a matter of yards you might say. Either way - do you know where in Wakefield this thing is?

In the classic 1933 movie "Duck Soup," Groucho Marx uttered the line "In fact, I'm not sure I'm seeing you now; it must be something I ate." But that's not the case here. There's a spot where you can spot one or two of these interesting characters. That said - Do you know where this was taken?

Well, at least if this one turns out to be too easy for everybody, at least we got a fairly cool picture out of it. This rendition of Old Glory can be found somewhere well-traveled in Wakefield. Do you know where this is?

This week's image might be a little too easy, given the fairly well-known location lurking behind the zoom lens. But let's give it a try - who knows where in Wakefield this image was taken?

Some say that on a dark moonless night, this thing can be spotted rising from its perch and... Oh wait... Wrong holiday. I'd better just get right to it - Do you know where in Wakefield this is? Answer in the comment box below!

The one thing I know about this picture is that it does not show any business. Hopefully that's not too much of a hint. Do you know where this was taken? Answer in the comments box below!

Somewhere in an old photo album, I've got a picture of a statue very much like this one taken in the famous Lafayette Cemetery in the Garden District of New Orleans. At first glance, this picture looks a lot like it was probably taken at one of the churches in town. But, you never know. Do you know where this was taken? Answer in the comments box below!

If there's one lesson we can draw from this clock, it's that "It's always pizza time somewhere." But perhaps I've said too much already. Sure, there's a ton of places in Wakefield where this could be, and you're probably running through some of the usual suspects right now. With that - do you know where this was taken?
