The singer from Wakefield performed on live television on Monday night - results will be tabulated for Tuesday night at 9 p.m.
Wakefield's own James Massone performed on live television on Monday night's episode of "The Voice" - and his fate now lies in the hands of voters in America and possibly, up to his coach to keep him from elimination. On Monday night's episode, Massone crooned the soulful Norah Jones hit "Don't Know Why," to a crowd full of screaming girls, and a panel of appreciative judges. "I almost threw my panties on the stage," said country-singer judge Blake Griffin about Massone's performance. "I'm waiting to hear the number to call, 'cause I like him." [The following information was provided by the Lucius Beebe Memorial Library.] The Beebe Library will be hosting serveral talks on technology in the coming month by Elizabeth Thomsen, the Member Services Manager and one of the tech gurus at the North of Boston Library Exchange, a.k.a. NOBLE, the library consortium to which the Beebe library belongs. Thomsen will address social networking, and in particular Facebook, Twitter, and Flickr.
