Concert to Support the Wakefield Interfaith Food Pantry

Kim and Reggie Harris perform at Temple Emmanuel on Saturday, March 16th.

Temple Emmanuel and the Unitarian-Universalist Church of Wakefield have joined together to present Kim and Reggie Harris to the area residents on Saturday, March 16th at 8:00 pm. Kim and Reggie are a mini music festival of diversity as they combine great repertoire with wonderful harmonies, smart guitar arrangements, and sparkling wit!  They create an atmosphere that makes audiences relax, sing, and celebrate. Saturday: The Passover Band Plays At Temple Emmanuel

Jewish rock/klezmer band from Italy performs Saturday evening, Dec. 15 at 8 p.m., 120 Chestnut Street, Wakefield.

The social committee of Temple Emmanuel of Wakefield announces the return of The Passover Band from Trieste, Italy on Saturday evening, December 15th at 8:00 pm.The Passover Band is a Jewish progressive rock/klezmer group who perform original progressive rock music based on Jewish themes as well as standard klezmer favorites. The Passover Band has toured in Italy, the USA, Slovenia, Croatia, Austria and Japan. They have three CD’s and are currently working on the fourth, due for release summer 2013. The following is an announcement from Temple Emmanuel of Wakefield: Join members of Temple Emmanuel of Wakefield for an inclusive, participatory, spiritual, upbeat musical Shabbat on Friday evening, December 7th at 8 pm.  The service will have complete transliteration as well as contemporary translation, beautiful commentary and interpretations. This service also has beautiful songs and melodies that are user friendly as well as traditional favorites. It is intended to be more meaningful, joyful and spiritual without significant changes in ritual. The following is an announcement from Temple Emmanuel of Wakefield: Temple Emmanuel of Wakefield has planned many special events during October.  Temple Emmanuel is a welcoming community looking to make new friends. The Temple is a house of learning, house of prayer, and above all a house of  gathering.  Temple Emmanuel is located at 120 Chestnut Street, Wakefield.
