Police made a motor vehicle stop on Richardson Avenue. Angelo Luongo, 32, of 41 Richardson Ave., Wakefield, was arrested and charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence of drugs. The caller reported he was assaulted with a knife, according to police. Joseph Ignasius Parcellin, 18, of 11 Bartley St., Apt. #A207, Wakefield, was arrested and charged with assault with a dangerous weapon. Sept. 1 @1:02 a.m.: State Police called to report a motor vehicle accident at Exit 40 off Route 128 North. The crash occurred in the high-speed lane of the highway, according to police. At 10:08 a.m., Wakefield police were called to a restaurant on Tuttle Street for a report of larceny. The restaurant owner claimed a man at the restaurant allegedly stole more than $64 in food without paying for it. James McLennan, 47, of 1 Hickory Hill Road, Wakefield, was arrested and charged with larceny under $250. At 2:59 p.m., police responded to Hart Street to serve an arrest warrant.
