Letter: Tisei Trying to Distract Voters From Real Issues
Wakefield resident Fred Rich LaRiccia writes about his thoughts on Richard Tisei's congressional campaign.
To the Editor: So "has-been" Richard Tisei filled acres of the Wakefield Item (3/15/12) pages with mudslinging and guilt-by-association innuendo hurled at Congressman John Tierney. Assuming that the Item is going to grant Tierney an equally vast acreage to defend himself, I hope that Tierney points out that for a career politician who claims that he “proved you don't have to be disagreeable just because you are in the opposition”, Richard Tisei has a strange way of being civil. Surfing the endless slopes of the press-release-turned-Item-article, you will search in vain for any hint of a solution or policy from Tisei aimed at keeping the Obama Recovery accelerating. Funny, I didn't see anything in LaRiccia's letter about a "Right-Wing Nut". I saw a correct criticism of the contentless, mudslinging campaign that Tisei has thus far waged. Tisei's legislative achievements are the following: zilch.
