Brown and Warren: Is It Just Politics As Usual?

It’s been an interesting week in the U.S. Senate Race between Democrat Elizabeth Warren and incumbent Republican Scott Brown.

First it was revealed that Harvard University once touted Warren’s marginal Native American heritage as proof of their faculty’s diversity. That story was followed up with another revealing one that Warren had listed herself as a minority professor between 1986 and 1995 in the Association of American Law Schools desk book, a major reference for legal professors. On Tuesday it was revealed that Brown, who ran for office vowing to kill President Obama’s health care law (and who has since voted three times to repeal it) took advantage of a key provision in it: the provision that allows him to keep his elder daughter on his congressional health insurance plan. My worst dental experience is with Gordon Robert J DDS in Malden (10 Holden St). The receptionist kept losing my paperwork, and the dentist did unnecessary procedures that were not covered by insurance, which I found out later getting the bill through the mail.   more ›

Event Spotlight: Comedy Night in Saugus to Support Boys & Girls Club

The show kicks off at 8 p.m. Friday at the Giggles Comedy Club, 517 Broadway, Saugus.

Tickets are $25 per person and includes unlimited pizza and access to the 75 minute comedy show featuring Frank Santorelli, Rocky Laporte and Johnny Pizzi. Every Monday night, 10 percent of sales from the Dockside Restaurant will be donated to the Boys & Girls Club of Stoneham, Wakefield Club.

Every Monday night, dine at the Dockside Restaurant, 1099 Main St., Wakefield, from 5-10 p.m., and the restaurant will donate 10 percent of sales to the Boys & Girls Club of Stoneham, Wakefield Club.
