Photos: Warriors Fall in State Title Hockey Game at the Garden

Wakefield High's Cinderella season came to an abrupt halt yesterday at the hands of Marshfield. The Warriors fell 3-2 in the Division 1 State Championship Game.

The article has been updated to reflect this.] BOSTON--Marshfield senior captain Chris Perry composed quite the inspirational tome in order to help get his teammates revved up for their Division 1 State Championship showdown with streaking Wakefield High at the TD Garden yesterday. The inspiration he ended up providing, however, came in a much different manner. After seeing Perry carted off the ice about halfway through the game with a severe 12-inch gash to the inside of his right leg, the Rams rose to the occasion, overcoming a 2-1 deficit and skating to an inspired 3-2 win…
