My name is Lightning and I am a stunning, young cat who is more than ready to get some me time. I don’t know why they call me Lightning, because if I am fast, it is only because I have been dashing after kittens. Babies, babies, babies, oh my. Mine were lovely, but I am so done with being a mother. Now I want someone to mother me. What do I mean by mothering me? Well, I love to be patted. I love to be scratched behind my ears and stroked from my neck all the way down to my tail. I am so sleek and smooth your hand will glide right over me like, well, like lightning. VIDEO: Time Lapse of Wednesday's Severe Thunderstorm in Wakefield

A line of severe thunderstorms moved through Wakefield on Tuesday afternoon.

A large line of severe thunderstorms passed through Wakefield on Wednesday afternoon, knocking down tree limbs and leaving some Wakefield residents without power. In addition to thunder and lightning, the storms produced heavy rain, high winds and even large hail in some areas. The National Weather Service issued a hazardous weather outlook early on Wednesday, noting that a severe thunderstorm cell was headed straight for the Wakefield area.  The storm rolled in around 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday afternoon, first with dark, menacing clouds, then severe lightning followed by high winds and pouring rain. At 2:04 p.m. the National Weather Service issued a tornado warning for the area, but the warning was soon called off.  Several hundred residents…
