The Repertory Theatre will be bringing the beloved musical, Grease, to their stage this Saturday, October 14th through the 23rd.
It's the one that we want! Grease! The Repertory Theatre will be hosting several shows between October 14th through the 23rd featuring the classic Jim Jacobs and Warren Casey musical. The show is presented at the Wakefield-Lynnfield United Church on 273 Vernon Street, Wakefield. This show will feature talented Wakefield actor, Lauren D'Amore. From the organizer: Wakefield Repertory Theatre is looking to cast male roles in our upcoming production of "Grease". Auditions will be held BY APPOINTMENT ONLY: Although the show is set in high school, WRT is casting only actors 18 years of age and older. The following roles are open: Danny.................Baritone/Tenor (with falsetto). Leader of the T-birds. Good-looking with air of cool, easy-going charm. Strong and confident. Kenickie.............Baritone. Second in command of T-Birds. Tough, surly, with an off-beat sense of humor. Doody................Tenor. Youngest of the T-birds. Tuesday, July 26 at 7 p.m. - audition for the musical, "Grease" presented by the Wakefield Repertory Theater.
From the organizer: Wakefield Repertory Theater will be holding auditions for performers 18 and older for their production of "Grease" on July 26 and 28 from 7:00-10:00pm at Wakefield/Lynnfield United Methodist Church, 273 Vernon Street, Wakefield, MA. All roles are open. All auditioners should plan to arrive by 7:00 p.m. and plan to stay for the entire audition, through 10:00 p.m. Auditioners will sing first, then read from the script and will be taught a dance combo. Please plan to wear comfortable clothes for easy movement. Please prepare 16-32 bars of one song of your choice.
