I went to Zalek's for the first time in awhile on a late warm May afternoon. Given the nice weather both inside and outside seating were available which was a really nice option. I came down to try the chicken wings as I am on a chicken wing kick lately but it seems they only have "buffalo" fingers. Or at least with the meal deal thing including 3 sides. So the wing vs finger mix-up was a little awkward but the option of 3 sides kept me in the game. I went with salad, onion rings and fries. All 3 sides were good. The salad was surprisingly large although simple with iceberg lettuce, onion, pepper and tomato. The fries were solid crispy steak style fries and the onion rings were also very crispy. You do not get a ton of either but definitely enough. The "Bufallo" fingers were solid chicken fingers but it would be great to get them with different flavors or sauce on the side. Too much "Bufallo" was an issue. Overall the meal was a success but a learning experience. I have also had the Fish & Chips from here and it was very good. I will say the staff while nice could have been more helpful and tuned more into customer service. The food seems good overall.

This is the best food & it's made to order! The menu has just about everything from hamburgers & lobster rolls to stuffed Sole & fresh fish & it's all delicious! Peter, the owner or his Mom Virgina, are usually in the open kitchen & they will gladly accommodate any dietary needs. Call for takeout or take a seat in the small dining room or in the warm weather grab a seat outside & dine alfresco!

Just a tad pricier than you average sub shop, the food is top notch! We've had everything from their salads and subs to seafood and dinners and everything has been wonderful!
