The Wakefield Interfaith Food Pantry, comprised of 10 different religious institutions and other volunteers in Wakefield, operates out of the basement of the Americal Civic Center. The pantry has been a staple in Wakefield since 1982. Food is offered to those in need on Tuesday and Thursday mornings and Thursday evenings. Donations can be made to the food pantry on Mondays, Thursday afternoons and the second and fourth Saturday of each month.
