Saint Joseph School is a Catholic elementary and middle school for residents of Wakefield and the surrounding communities. Opened in September of 1925, the school has grown in size and was accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges in 2000. The school offers classrooms for pre-kindergarten students through the eighth grade. The curriculum, approved by the Department of Education, integrates the Roman Catholic faith into the subjects of science, English grammar and composition, music, social studies, math, literature and physical education.
