The staff is friendly and helpful if you need some suggestions. The location in the center of Wakefield is convenient. They don't have as much wine variety as the Wine Bunker a few minutes away but McDonough's is a full service liquor store that has beer, hard alcohol and wine.

This liquor store is located just before the Center usually has parking right out front, due to the 15-minute limit. These guys have a very wide wine selection and have quite a few microbrews and cask ales as well. Hard liquor is well-represented, and there is a special focus on bourbon and whiskeys. The employees are very well-versed in the shop's stock and can help you find the perfect beverage.

The best liquor store around. Best staff too, they are so helpful and always friendly! They have an excellent stock of beer, wine and alcohol as well as an array of accessories. Better yet, they take credit cards!!! ( I never carry cash!) You won't be disappointed shopping at McDonough's!
