Hair's How, set up at the top of the Preston Street hill, is a school that offers complete 1000 hour courses in cosmetology. Parking can be a major endeavor here as there are three spots, and the lot is usually filled with buses from retirement communities. Students can be seen scuttling around the large school, and customers can also arrive on a walk-in basis for hair styling, nail work and dye jobs performed by the students. No appointments needed here.

I have never had a haircut at Hair's How that I did not like. i am a satisfied customer. I love the 'no appointment' aspect and the price is certainly right. The teachers hover over the students so there is no room for error. Love it!
