'Meet Me In St. Louis' Opens Tonight

Starting tonight, Wakefield Repertory Theatre presents “Meet Me in St. Louis. Shows are Sept. 27 and 28 and October 4 and 5 at 8 p.m., and September 29 and October 6 at 3 p.m. at Wakefield-Lynnfield United Methodist Church, 273 Vernon Street. Tickets can be purchased at this link.

This Saturday, September 28 starting at 8 a.m., the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention holds the 4th annual Out of the Darkness Suicide Awareness/Prevention Walk. Click here to learn more about it.

On Saturday, Sept. 28 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., the Boston Chapter of the American Sewing Guild holds a chapter meeting at the First Baptist Church in Wakefield, on 8 Lafayette Street.

Nazareth Academy in Wakefield has announced admissions open houses on Sunday, Sep. 29 from noon to 3 p.m. and Thursday, Nov. 7 from 5 to 7:30 p.m. Open houses begin in the academy’s great hall at 27 Cordis Street, Wakefield. To register in advance visit www.nazarethacademy.org/admissions.
