Walk of Hope for ALS Saturday at Lake Quannapowitt

The 12th annual Walk of Hope for ALS is coming up on Saturday, September 7 around Lake Quannapowitt. Registration is 9 a.m., and the walk is at 11 a.m. To learn more about this event, click here.

The Beebe Library’s Plaza Jazz summer concert series wraps up this Thursday with a 6-8 p.m. performance by Pistol Pete and the Smoking Guns. Click here for more.

Coming up on Tuesday, September 10 at 5 p.m., Lisa O’Loughlin of Geriatric Care Management gives a presentation on planning for life at 60 and beyond. A light supper will also be served. Registration is required, call 781-245-3312.

The Beebe Library’s Supper Sleuths mystery book discussion group is Tuesday, September 10 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. in the lecture hall. The group will discuss the 1938 classic “Rebecca” by Daphne du Maurier.
