'Try Tai Chi' This Week at the Library

A look at what's coming up in and around Wakefield.

Today is Monday, September 23. Here are five things worth knowing today. 

Coming up on Wednesday, September 25, Paul and Rosalie DiCrescenzo offer a “Try Tai Chi” presentation at the Beebe Library, 7 p.m. Ages 16 plus. This includes a slide presentation as well as an introductory lesson. 

The Boys and Girls Club of Stoneham and Wakefield has announced its 11th annual Walk/Run for the Club is Saturday, October 12 at 9 a.m. at Lake Quannapowitt. To learn more or to register, click here

The Acting Locally group at Wakefield’s Unitarian Universalist Church downtown will kick off with an inaugural 100-mile potluck event on Sunday, Sept. 29 at 6 p.m. All ingredients in the dish must be used with ingredients sourced within 100 miles of Wakefield. Click here to learn more.
