Open Choral Rehearsal, Business After Hours, and Robert Burns Night Coming Up

The Wakefield Chamber of Commerce has an upcoming business after hours event with Town Administrator Steve Maio and Superintendent of Schools Dr. Stephen Zrike – Wednesday, Jan. 22 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Clarion Inn on 595 North Ave. Wakefield. Click here for more information.

Coming up on Tuesday, January 21, the Beebe Library’s TECHsploration group meets at 7 p.m. in the lecture hall, to discuss Smart Phones, tablets, and other electronic devices. Click here to register.

There’s two events on the calendar for Tuesday at the Whole Foods at MarketStreet Lynnfield. At 9:30 a.m. they’re having a Story Time (apparently in the container room) And at 4 p.m., they’re having a New England clam chowder sampling. 

On Saturday, January 25 from 5 to 8 p.m., Laurie’s 9:09 Restaurant at 33 Tuttle Street in Wakefield is having a Robert Burns Night Scotch tasting to help celebrate the birthday of famed Scottish poet Robert Burns.

The Wakefield Choral Society has an open rehearsal scheduled Monday evening at 6:45 p.m. at Wakefield High School. New members are welcome. Click here to learn more
