Tania Salon and Spa has announced a breast cancer fundraising event on Tuesday, October 29 from 6 to 8 p.m. All proceeds from the event will benefit the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. Special guests are Breast Health Educator Linda Leis to discuss self-exams, nutrition and more, while Barbara Mirlocca of Florence’s Fashions will talk about bra fitting for breast cancer survivors as well as wig options. William C. Sano, an area musical educator, conductor and pianist and organist, will return to the Meeting House for a new lecture series entitled “Sisters Who Sing.” Sano’s latest lineup will run Thursdays from 10 a.m. to noon with The Andrews Sisters on October 31, The McGuire Sisters on November 7, the Lennon Sisters on Nov. 14 and The Supremes on Nov. 21.
