PHOTOS: Greenwood's Girl Scouts Spread Holiday Cheer

Girl Scout Troop 71440 sang for residents at the Life Care Center in Stoneham.

Greenwood’s Girl Scout Troop 71440 visited 94-year young Mary Cushman, a.k.a Nana Nana, great grandmother to Greenwood’s Rachel and Jason Langone. The girls sang to many of the residents at Life Care Center in Stoneham in the facility's common room and then went to Nana Nana’s room for a private performance.

Along with the Girl Scouts there were four generations of the Cushman/Burke Family on hand to sing and celebrate that her family had said goodbye to her just a few weeks ago only to, thankfully, have her rally. Nana Nana gave all the girls chocolate pops to say thank you for the visit.

On hand were Eden Hudson, Hannah and Louise Canavan, Danielle Drees, Jessie and Rebecca Hunt, Mia Millstone, Emily Whitham, Olivia Butler, Genna Carroll, Rachel Langone and Troop Leaders Catherine Taatjes and Laurie Hunt.
