About Two Dozen Wakefielders Ran in Annual LAA Road Race

More than 250 runners participated in the 46th annual Lynnfield Athletic Association 5K road race last week, about two dozen of them from Wakefield.

Below are the top 10 finishers in the race, with the full list available at this link on the Cool Running website. This video footage shows all of the runners, led by a handful of Lynnfielders who ran in the Boston Marathon this year, as well as footage of the first few to cross the finish line.  A portion of the proceeds from this race also went to the One Fund to help Boston Marathon bombing victims.
