The Citizens’ Scholarship Foundation (CSF) of Wakefield will host a jazz brunch on Sunday, March 3rd from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Bear Hill Golf Club in Stoneham. This will take the place of the annual CSF Dinner Dance.
“This is an exciting change, one that will be a welcome addition to our fundraising and social activities,” CSF of Wakefield President Faith Hodgkins said. “We invite everyone to join us on March 3rd to enjoy a leisurely Sunday brunch and music provided by the JACK Band.”
The JACK Band, a Boston based jazz/funk group has been playing together since the fall 2010. Their diverse repertoire ranges from jazz standards to classic funk/R&B tunes. Whether it's Charlie Parker or James Brown, the JACK band delivers a high quality performance with great energy. The group has played at weddings, cocktail hours, clubs, hotels, private parties, and jazz bars.
