June Homes Sales in Wakefield Drop from Last Year
Wakefield homes sales in June dipped by 25 percent compared to June of 2012.
The Warren Group recently released their June home sales numbers for the towns and counties in Massachusetts and Wakefield saw a drop in home sales.
Wakefield home sales in June of this year compared to home sales of June 2012 are lower than last year. However, year-to-date, Wakefield home sales have increased from 2012.
Last month, Wakefield saw 21 homes sold, which is a 25 percent drop from the home sales in June of 2012, which was 28.
Since the beginning of 2013, 81 homes have been sold in Wakefield, which is a 5.19 percent increase compared to the first six months in 2012, in which 77 homes were sold.
The median sales price in Wakefield for June of 2013 was down 5.91 percent from the median price in June of last year, going from $425,000 in 2012 to $399,900 in June of this year.
