Here's some footage from Richard Tisei's campaign kickoff at the Americal Civic Center Thursday in downtown Wakefield.
As noted Thursday afternoon on Patch, Wakefield Republican Richard Tisei has announced his campaign for the congressional seat currently held by longtime Democratic incumbent John Tierney.
The two also squared off in the 2012 congressional race, and Tisei lost by only about 4,000 votes. Another close race is likely in a district that national political pundits have long called "The Bloody Sixth."
