LETTER: State Primary A Success In Wakefield

Send your letters to the editor and local opinion pieces to william.laforme@patch.com.

I would like to express my appreciation to all of the hard working people who made the Thursday, Sept. 6, 2012 State Primary Election a success in Wakefield.

The Town Clerk office staff of  Rosemary Morgan, Mary V. Dechant, Marilyn Bowen and Mary Dumont persevered through all of the work involved, and Joe Puleo, Computer Consultant, worked tirelessly to make sure all of the voting equipment was in perfect condition.   Special appreciation must be given to Rosemary Robertson who expertly manned the phone on election day, and Jerry Sweeney, Deputy Warden of the Tabulation Center who was invaluable as always.

My gratitude particularly extends to Marilyn Bowen, Head  Warden,  and Wardens Linda Byam, Thomas R. Campbell,  Bob Foley, Charlotte Heger, Kristen Henshaw, Ginny Hopkins and Patricia Schneider along with all of their wonderful election workers.
