Workers With Tools Cause Concern

Wakefield Police responded to these and other calls for service on Wednesday, December 4, 2013.
At 8:30 a.m. a man reported a vehicle break-in during the night.
At 9:04 a.m. a caller near Main Street and North Ave. reported an accident involving a DPW vehicle.
At 12:58 p.m. an accident was reported near Cedar Street and Prospect Street. One woman was transported to a nearby hospital.
At 5:42 p.m. a caller on Lowell Street reported that two men wearing head lamps had been tampering with a UPS drop box with tools. Further investigation found that the man were employees doing legitimate work.
At 4:15 a.m. on Thursday, December 5, a caller on Grafton Street reported a suspicious vehicle with four males inside of it. They turned out to be dropping off a friend.
At 4:59 a.m. a caller on Jackson Lane reported a disoriented female rang the doorbell and then wandered off. She was gone on arrival.
