Woman Charged With OUI Drugs

Wakefield Police responded to these and other calls for service on Thursday, December 5, 2013.
At 9:57 a.m. a caller on Water Street reported a man was at the door claiming to be from the gas department. He checked out OK.
At 1:54 p.m. a suspicious man with a clipboard was reported on Butternut Road. He was a solicitor with a home remodeling company and police advised him to register with the town.
At 2:28 p.m. police took a report of a harassment order violation.
At 5:41 p.m. Lynnfield assisted Wakefield and the State Police with checking on an erratic operator who was stopped in Wakefield and who checked out OK.
At 5:54 p.m. an accident was reported on 128 South.
At 6:17 p.m. an accident was reported near Nahant Street and Partridge Lane. Soon after, police arrested Kaila Mari Rush, 20, 40 Bartley Street, Wakefield, and charged her with OUI Drugs and Possession of a Class B drug.
At 7:56 p.m. a loose dog – a yellow lab – was reported near Pleasant Street.
At 10:37 p.m. police went to Hopkins Street for a report of a man in a white vehicle playing loud music. He turned it down for the evening.
At 11:58 p.m. a caller reported somebody calling for help on Water Street. Soon after, police arrested Tracie A. Roberts, 472 Water Street and charged her with assault and battery – domestic and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon (shod foot).
