Woman Blocked in by Snow, and a Vehicle Strikes a Building

Wakefield Police responded to these and other calls for service on Tuesday, February 12, 2013.
At 7:42 a.m. the K9 unit was at Tewksbury High School for a narcotics sweep.
At 9:16 a.m. an elderly woman on Armory Street reported that snow was deposited on her walkway, making it impossible for her to leave her home.  The DPW was expected to take care of it.
At 2:34 p.m. State Police informed Wakefield of an erratic operator heading from 128 to North Ave. The driver was not located.
At 2:44 p.m. police were informed a vehicle struck a building on Smith Street.
At 2:51 p.m. an Armory Street resident called regarding an issue with a neighbor making nuisance noise calls to the police.
At 7:21 p.m. a caller reported a vehicle had been running for over an hour on Lincoln Street. Police found nothing out of order with the vehicle otherwise.
At 7:55 p.m. a Sweetser Street resident reported a past break-in.
At 12:50 a.m. on Wednesday, February 13th, police issued a summons to a 22 year old Wakefield man for operating with a suspended/revoked license.
At 2 a.m. on Wednesday, February 13th, police issued a summons to a 22 year old Salem man for operating an uninsured motor vehicle and speeding.
