Water In The Gas Tank, And Two Grand For Tony Tags

Wakefield Police responded to these and other calls for service on Tuesday, January 22nd, 2013.
At 8:21 a.m. police took a report involving a road rage incident. One vehicle was apparently tailgating another one after it pulled out of Melvin Street.
At 9:41 a.m. a caller reported that somebody may have just put water in the gas tank of their car.
At 12 p.m., police took a report involving threats made over Facebook.
At 12:21 p.m. a woman reported that her parents had been targeted in an attempted fraud. A man going by the name of “Tony Tags” reportedly claimed their son had been arrested and that they were supposed to wire $2,000 to a Wal-Mart in San Diego. No money was sent and the son was reportedly fine.
At 1:04 p.m. a caller reported vandalism to a men’s room on Main Street.
At 4:34 p.m. police and rescue personnel responded to a report of an unconscious male on Richardson Ave.
At 7:35 p.m. a caller complained about music coming from a loudspeaker ouside a restaurant near Tuttle Street. The music was turned down.
At 10:58 p.m. police took a report of a restraining order violation on Chestnut Street. They issued a restraining order to a 44 year old Wakefield man for violating an abuse prevention order.
