Vehicle Break-In, Person Stuck In Elevator Among Monday Calls

Wakefield Police responded to these and other calls for service on Monday, October 21, 2013. 

At 8:10 a.m. police took a walk-in report from a woman involving items expected to be delivered to her home.
At 9:13 a.m. a caller reported a backpack hanging from a fence on Richardson Ave. Further investigation found it most likely belonged to a middle school student and police planned to attempt to contact the owner.
At 9:36 a.m. police took a walk-in report involving threats.
At 9:43 a.m. police took a report of a past vehicle break in.
At 11:18 a.m. a caller reported a driver possibly smoking marijuana and heading toward  Melrose. Police in that town were notified.
At 3:10 p.m. a Richardson Street resident reported a possible coyote had just run through the yard.
At 4 p.m. police took a walk-in report of a hit and run.
At 10:09 p.m. an individual was reported stuck in an elevator on Audubon Road The individual was able to free herself without assistance.
At 10:59 p.m. a man called to report that his ex girlfriend and current girlfriend were having a dispute.
