Vehicle Break-In, OUI Arrest Over Weekend

Wakefield Police responded to these and other calls for service between Friday, November 15 and Sunday, November 17, 2013.
On Friday, Nov. 15 at 7:50 a.m. a motorist reported smoke coming from the woods near the Woodville School. The fire department responded to the scene.
At 8:05 a.m., police received two calls reporting vehicle break-ins on Partridge Lane.
At 8:06 a.m. a vehicle reportedly struck the rear of a building on Main Street. No injuries were reported.
At 2:09 p.m. police were called to the McDonalds after a motorist refused to provide paperwork after striking a section of the building in the drive-thru.
At 4:39 p.m. a Salem Street business reported that an irate and apparently intoxicated customer had just driven off toward Lynnfield.
At 7:14 p.m. police took a report of a possible phone scam.
At 10:30 p.m. a man was placed into protective custody near Gerry Lane after police were informed he was down on the sidewalk.
On Saturday, Nov. 16 at 12:49 a.m. State Police responded to an accident on 128 North.
At 1:06 a.m. police took a trespassing complaint from Cedar Street.
At 1:56 a.m. police arrested Keely Stephens, 18, 36 Sewell Street, Marblehead, charging the defendant with OUI Liquor and resisting arrest.
At 7:11 a.m. a woman reported a deer head in the roadway on Prospect Street. Animal Control arrived and disposed of it.
At 12:39 p.m. police responded to a disturbance between neighbors on Madison Ave.
At 2:03 p.m. police were informed a dog had been a in a car on Water Street with the windows rolled up for an extended period. The matter was resolved.
At 4:38 p.m. police took a report involving an apparent attempted scam.
At 9:28 p.m. a caller reported that three youths had just moved a TV set from the trash on Emerson Street into the middle of the road.
On Sunday, Nov. 17 at 6:29 a.m. an accident with no injury was reported on North Ave.
At 8:08 a.m. police responded to a report of a panic attack in a vehicle and issued a summons to a man charging him with assault and battery on a police officer, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon (shod food) and resisting arrest. The individual was evaluated at a nearby hospital.
At 3:07 p.m. the fire department responded to Ames Street for a report of a fire in a yard.
At 6:46 p.m. a minor accident was reported in a parking lot on North Ave.
At 7:46 p.m. police took a report of a past vehicle break-in.
