Two Thefts Reported In Town

Wakefield Police responded to these and other calls for service on Tuesday, Oct. 9.
At 8:40 a.m., a caller reported a man sleeping in a car at Bonair Ave. and Lotus Ave. Police found the vehicle in a driveway and unoccupied.
At 11:23 a.m., a caller reported some recent damage to a vehicle that could be vandalism. However, the caller also stated that the damage could have been caused by striking a curb or by hitting debris in the road.
At 11:37 a.m., police took a report of a copper theft on Laurel Street.
At 12:07 p.m., a caller reported that a man had called his house trying to acquire personal information.
At 3:53 p.m., an accident was reported at the 129 Rotary. One vehicle was towed from the scene.
At 8:02 p.m., a Farm Street resident called to report a stolen ring.
At 8:24 p.m., police were informed that a 2 year old was accidentally given Benadryl by a 5 year old. The child was transported to an area hospital.
