Two Charged With Credit Card Fraud

Wakefield Police responded to these and other calls for service on Tuesday, January 7, 2014.
At 8:19 a.m. police and DPW responded to Greenwood Street for a house with a flooding problem.
At 8:40 a.m. an accident was reported near Main Street and Water Street.
At 8:44 a.m. an individual walked in to report a credit card fraud case. Police arrested Heather P. Gagnon, 28, 222 Salem Street, Wakefield, and charged her with larceny of a credit card, credit card fraud over $250, and on two warrants. Police also arrested David A. Harak, 25, 222 Salem Street, Wakefield, and charged him with larceny of a credit card and credit card fraud over $250.
At 9:27 a.m. police took a fraud report.
At 3:14 p.m. a caller reported that some sort of tank was left by some recycling bins off Main Street. An empty air tank was found and removed from the scene.
At 3:53 p.m. a suspicious auto was reported near Keeling Road and Shetland Road. It was gone on arrival.
At 4:55 p.m. police took a report of a break-in on Outlook Road.
At 7:58 p.m. a minor accident was reported near Prospect Street and Elm Street. An officer issued a citation to one motorist for failure to proceed safely at a stop sign.
At 8:05 p.m. a caller on Forest Road reported an open basement door. Police conducted a walk-through of the home and determined it was likely due to an oversight by the homeowner.
