Two Charged In Vehicle Break-Ins

Information provided by Wakefield Police. Where arrests are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Wakefield Police responded to these and other calls for service on Tuesday, September 10, 2013.
At 10:59 a.m. a bicycle was reported stolen from behind a house on Main Street.
At 11:42 a.m. a New Salem Street resident reported an ongoing issue with vandalism of a mailbox.
At 1:37 p.m. an accident was reported on Main Street.
At 5:09 p.m. police took a report involving a past hit and run.
At 8:31 p.m. a caller reported some items missing from a home on Whittier Road from during a move.
At 9:52 p.m. police took a call about an intoxicated person on Tuttle Street and arrested a 29-year-old man and charged him with indecent assault and battery on a person 14 or over. Editor’s note: The charge was later dismissed in court.
At 10:22 p.m. police went to Bartley Street for a report of a person loudly playing guitar.

On Wednesday, September 11 at 1:32 a.m. a Pierce Ave. resident reported that two young white males were looking into vehicles with flashlights and carrying a backpack. Police arrested Tyler J. Accolla, 20, 109 Sagamore Ave., Chelsea, and charged him with breaking and entering a vehicle/boat in the nighttime for a felony, and for larceny over $250.
Police also arrested Joseph M. Tallent, 19, 65 Larkin Street, Revere, and charged him with breaking and entering a vehicle/boat in the nighttime for a felony (3 counts), and larceny over $250 (3 counts).
