Two Bike Mishaps, and Maple Syrup on a Car Seat

Wakefield Police responded to these and other calls for service on Wednesday, July 24, 2013. 

At 10:09 a.m. police took a call about a boat parked in a lot on Audubon Roa for an extended period.
At 12:13 p.m. a bicyclist was reportedly struck by a vehicle near Centre Street aand Main Street. No injury was reported.
At 12:32 p.m. a neighbor disturbance was reported on Valley Street.
At 3:06 p.m. a Winship Drive resident reported some youths using unauthorized motorized vehicles. An officer told them to walk them home.
At 4:12 p.m. a cyclist reported that she had been riding on the sidewalk on North Ave near Quannapowitt Parkway and collided with two pedestrians. The cyclist was treated on the scene by EMS personnel.
At 5:30 p.m. a vehicle parked near Main Street and Forest Street reportedly had its front window damaged.
At 5:53 p.m. an abandoned vehicle was reported on Byron Street.
At 6:17 p.m. a diabetic blood sugar monitor was reported found on Spaulding Street. At 6:57 p.m. a caller reported a loud explosion in a neighboring yard on Chestnut Street. Police spoke with the resident and all checked out OK.
At 8:34 p.m. a caller on Harrison Ave. reported that somebody appeared to have put maple syrup on her car seat.
At 8:35 p.m. a 209A restraining order violation was reported.
At 8:59 p.m. a possible restraining order violation was reported.
At 11:01 p.m. police took a fireworks complaint from near the high school field.
