Trees, Wires Down Accounted For Most Monday Service Calls

At 9:24 a.m., police took a report involving nails being placed under an individual’s tires.
At 1:54 p.m., a call came in about a large tree down across the commuter rail tracks near Melrose Terrace.
At 2:57 p.m., police took a report of a large tree and wires down on Grandview Ave.
At 3:05 p.m., a tree was reported down in the street at Highland Street and Pleasant Street.
At 3:39 p.m., a tree and wires were reported down on Vernon Street.
At 3:45 p.m., a large tree limb was reported to be blocking Salem Street.
At 3:59 p.m., a tree was reported down on the tracks on Myrtle Ave.
Between 4:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. police took numerous reports of trees and wires down from Hurricane Sandy.
