Suspicious Van, Couple of Thefts Reported

Wakefield Police responded to these and other calls for service on Tuesday, October 15, 2013.

At 10:43 a.m. a suspicious green minivan with a gray hatch was reportedly driving on Gladstone Street looking into driveways. It was gone on arrival.
At 10:51 a.m. illegal trash dumping was reported on Winship Drive.
At 11:03 a.m. police sent two occupants on their way after taking a call about them sleeping in a car.
At 2:51 p.m. an individual reported a civil matter involving a motor vehicle.
At 4:15 p.m. an accident was reported on Main Street involving a scooter vs. a motor vehicle.
At 4:46 p.m. a caller reported a man on Main Street had been acting suspicious and then became verbally abusive when asked to leave.
At 4:54 p.m. police took a report of a past larceny.
At 6:44 p.m. an accident was reported near Prospect Street and Elm Street.
At 7:36 p.m. police took a report of a past larceny on Evergreen Street.
At 7:48 p.m. police sent some people on their way who had been going through a Dumpster on Main Street.
