Suspect Charged In Seven Vehicle Break-Ins

On August 4th, a total of seven vehicles on Orsini Drive were broken into, with various items stolen.

A 22-year-old Lynn man has been charged in connection with numerous vehicle break-ins that occurred back in early August.

On August 4, Wakefield Officer Matt Warren responded to Orsini Drive over numerous reports of vehicle break-ins. A total of seven cars were entered and several electronic items, including cameras, cell phones, and a GPS, were stolen, as was some loose change.

Officer Warren reportedly canvassed the neighborhood asking residents if they had seen or heard anything overnight. One resident turned out to have seen a male near his vehicle and provided a description of a white male in his late teens to early 20s, with light colored spiked hair and tattoos on his arms.

From there, Warren continued the investigation and identified the suspect, who will be summonsed to Malden District Court to face seven counts of breaking and entering to a motor vehicle, and also multiple larceny charges.
