Summons Issued After Dance Studio Crash

Wakefield Police responded to these and other calls for service on Thursday, August 1, 2013.
At 11:44 a.m. police spoke to a motorist after receiving a speeding complaint on Preston Road.
At 5:24 p.m. a past larceny was reported on Audubon Road.
At 5:27 p.m. a woman reported her vehicle was hit in the parking lot on Audubon Road.
At 6:45 p.m. a man reported finding a wallet at a bus stop.
At 7:05 p.m. police responded to the area near Main Street and Cooper Street for a vehicle that struck the front of a dance studio. State Police Reconstruction and Wakefield Police investigated. A total of six patients were transported to area hospitals, all female, four of them teens, two adults. Police issued a summons to a 54 year old Wakefield woman charging her with negligent operation of a motor vehicle.
At 10:01 p.m. police sent some youths on their way from Greenwood Elementary School after receiving a noise complaint.
At 10:47 p.m. police responded to an apparent road rage incident near Sycamore Road and Montrose Ave. where a motorist pulled into a man’s driveway and began yelling at him about cutting him off. The man was gone on arrival.
