Stolen Purse, Cheese On Vehicles Reported

Wakefield Police responded to these and other calls for service between Friday, October 11 and Sunday, October 13, 2013.

On Friday, October 11 at 3:46 p.m. a caller reported a suspicious male in a wooded area off Richardson Street. He was gone on arrival.
At 6:07 p.m. police took a call about youths wrestling in front of the library and sent them on their way.
At 7:27 p.m. a lost Coach wristlet purse was secured for safekeeping.
At 10:20 p.m. a two car minor accident was reported near Albion Street and Murray Street.
At 11:51 p.m. a possible break in attempt was reported on Druid Hill Ave. All appeared to be normal.

On Saturday, October 12 at 8:32 a.m. a woman reported her vehicle was damaged on North Ave.
At 10:17 a.m. a purse was reported stolen on Main Street.
At 8:31 p.m. an officer reported that some youths shined a laser pointer at his cruiser. The youths were located and he planned to speak with the parents.
At 10:01 p.m. a caller on Appleton Road reported that youths had placed slices of cheese on vehicles on the street. The cars in question weren’t located. 

On Sunday at 12:13 a.m. police took a harassment report from a Pleasant Street resident.
At 1:12 a.m. a loud party was reported on Sheffield Road.
At 2:03 a.m. a man fell and hit his head on Jordan Ave. and was transported to an area hospital.
At 8:59 a.m. a woman called to report that a man was possibly following her in his car.
At 3:34 p.m. police took a complaint about youths skateboarding in front of the library. They were gone on arrival.
At 11:28 p.m. police were informed of a past accident involving as vehicle into a light pole on Quannapowitt Parkway. The vehicle was thought to be involved with another nearby accident that police were at the scene of.
