Stolen iPad and Man Going Through Cars Reported

Information provided by the Wakefield Police. Where arrests are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

Wakefield Police responded to these and other calls for service on Wednesday, November 13, 2013.
At 8:10 a.m. a caller reported that a man with a dark hooded sweatshirt appeared to be going through cars parked on the side of the road. He was gone on arrival.
At 8:20 a.m. a found wallet was turned in.
At 10:22  a.m. police took a report involving credit card fraud from a business on New Salem Street.
At 11:30 a.m. police took a call about an intoxicated woman walking near Water Street and Main Street. She was transported home.
At 11:59 a.m. a worker was reportedly clipped by a passing vehicle on Hopkins Street.
At 12:01 p.m. a caller reported landscape workers were piling leaves in the street and allowing them to blow into his yard. The matter was resolved.
At 2:47 p.m. a caller reported that a youth was on the roof of a house on Montrose Ave. with no socks, apparently kicking a window in. The youth was playing with a friend and no problem was found.
At 4:44 p.m. a citizen walked in to report the theft of an iPad.
At 5:08 p.m. an accident near North Ave. and Church Street was reported. An immediate threat report was expected to be filed with the RMV from the incident.
At 5:14 p.m. a minor accident was reported near North Ave. and Albion Street.
At 5:25 p.m. a caller reported a hit and run incident and an officer soon located the vehicle.
At 5:33 p.m. police and DPW were informed of nails in the road on Greenwood Street near the Melrose line.
