Slashed Tires and Snow-Related Complaints Among Weekend Reports

Wakefield Police responded to these and other calls for service between Friday, December 13 and Sunday, December 15, 2013.
On Friday, December 13 at 8:42 a.m. police were informed of a disturbance on Main Street between a bus monitor possibly being attacked by a male student with a pencil. The matter was resolved and no weapons were involved.
At 8:46 a.m. a minor accident was reported on Main Street.
At 9:05 a.m. a minor accident was reported at the 129 Rotary.
At 10 a.m. police took a report involving lost medication.
At 10:48 a.m. an accident was reported near North Ave. and Lakeside Ave.
At 12:26 p.m. a woman on Harrison Ave. reported that a large rock was thrown at her door during the night.
At 1:13 p.m. police were informed of a car on a sidewalk on Main Street and issued a citation to a motorist for failure to yield right of way.
At 4:34 p.m. some tires were reported slashed on a vehicle on Lee Street.
At 5:02 p.m. an employee at a Salem Steet business reported being assaulted by a customer. Police arrested Jennifer Kresien, 43, 216 Lantern Road, Revere, and charged her with assault and battery.
At 5:18 p.m. a caller reported some people on Albion Street were going door to door in a building claiming to be from Verizon. They were gone on arrival.
At 5:45 p.m. a possibly intoxicated male was reported on Main Street. He checked out OK.
At 6:36 p.m. the fire department responded to Main Street for a report of alarms and a burning smell in a building.
At 10:07 p.m. police and rescue personnel responded to Jennifer Road for a report of a woman choking. She was treated at the scene.
On Saturday, December 14 at 12:48 a.m. police took a walk-in report of a hit and run accident on Main Street and issued a summons to a 18 year old Melrose woman for leaving the scene of property damage, failure to notify RMV of a name/address change, and misleading an investigator by furnishing false information.
At 9:42 a.m. a man near North Ave. and Yale Ave. was transported to a nearby hospital after police were informed he appeared to be staggering.
At 10:57 a.m. police arrested Michael E. Senn, 52, 14 Collins Street, Peabody, on a warrant.
At 11:19 a.m. an officer handled a dispute over a parking spot on Main Street.
At 8:10 p.m. a car reportedly struck a parked car on Sycamore Road and drove off.
On Sunday, December 15 at 1:27 a.m. a motorist reported being stuck on a hill due to icy conditions.
At 1:55 a.m. an individual with a possibly broken ankle was assisted on Church Street.
At 9:12 a.m. an Albion Street reported contractors were damaging his fence by plowing snow against it.
At 9:55 a.m. an accident was reported on Water Street. Police issued a summons to a 25 year old Revere man for unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.
At 10:28 a.m. the DPW reported a dispute with an individual on New Salem Street over snow removal. The matter was resolved.
At 11:35 a.m. a caller reported a fight with another motorist near Linda Road.
At 11:49 a.m. an accident was reported on Spring Ave.
At 1:31 p.m. a vehicle reportedly struck a hydrant near Hart Street and Nahant Street.
At 8:21 p.m. a suspicious man was reported walking up to homes on Grafton Street. He turned out to be looking for work shoveling snow.
At 12:23 a.m. on Monday, December 16, police took an identity theft report.
