Rollover Accident on 128, and Bus Strikes Cyclist

Wakefield Police responded to these and other calls for service on Tuesday, August 27, 2013.
At 9:18 a.m. a verbal altercation between a skateboarder and the driver of a vehicle was reported near Main Street and Greenwood Street. It turned out to be a mother and son arguing, and they were sent on their way.
At 9:40 a.m. police responded to Water Street for a report of a dispute between a woman and her ex-husband.
At 10:44 a.m. a Montrose Ave. resident reported that a man rang the doorbell and offered to mow the lawn, and then would not leave. He turned out to be a lawn care employee who was at the wrong address.
At 1:35 p.m. Wakefield, Lynnfield and State Police responded to a rollover accident on 128 North near Exit 41.
At 2:28 p.m. police were called to Richardson Ave. for a report of a man sleeping on the front steps of an apartment building. He turned out to be just resting.
At 2:40 p.m. a caller on Howard Street reported a smell of smoke. Police and fire responded and found a campfire in the neighborhood.
At 4:02 p.m. a caller reported that an elderly man with possible dementia had approached him on North Ave.
At 4:07 p.m. a MBTA bus reportedly struck a bicycle near Main Street and Crescent Street.
At 4:12 p.m. police took a report of a phone scam.
At 5:31 p.m. police arrested Kelly N. Pfeifer, 23, 240 Lowell Street, Wakefield, on two warrants.
At 5:49 p.m. an erratic operator reportedly almost struck a vehicle near New Salem Street.
At 6:07 p.m. police took a fraud report.
At 11:31 p.m. a Chestnut Street resident called about an ongoing issue with a neighbor lighting off fireworks. Police spoke with the individual.
