Body Found in Crystal Lake
A body has been found in the lake, according to several sources.
UPDATE, 8:58 p.m. — Wakefield Police have reported that the body found in Crystal Lake Saturday afternoon was that of an unidentified woman in her mid-seventies.
According to a police announcement, a passerby reported spotting the body floating in the lake near Linden Ave. Wakefield Police and Fire personnel, as well as Action Ambulance personnel, responded to the scene and determined that the woman was deceased.
The incident remains under investigation, but police indicated that there is no reason to believe the public is in any danger.
